If you are gonna come with some inventions of your own, why not try something different? I've been researching about hydrochargers and they sound very interesting. For those who don't know, they work like a turbo, but the exhaust side (back) turbine is not moved by exhaust gases but by water. There are a couple of good benefits from this setup: One, you can stick a smaller turbine in the back since water is way more dense than air (duh), and it will keep the "turbo" colder. The hydrocharger water should be independent from the engine water, meaning, you should attach an extra water pump to a pulley, and then run the water lines to the hydrocharger. The second benefit is the fact that now you pan put those "turbos" anywhere. I guess the best place is on the front, somewhere down next to the intercooler, and attach the air filter directly to the turbo (for the Z31) or in the Z32, put one turbo on each side down where the stock intercoolers go, and then put twin front mount intercoolers. It would be a nice setup. Anyways, thats a crazy idea that might work very good. If you ever do it, let us know how it goes ;)
